Introduction
Long ago, the havens bled red and angels fell. Demons ruled the earth and man where their loyal subjects. But as time went on, men began to side with the angels who still lived in the havens. Soon war broke out, and death was everyone’s closest friend.

After many centauries of battle, a great wizard, named Kale, stood forth and summoned the leaders of both the Demons and the Angels. They meet at the Sacred Grove of Justice and Exile. There were two leaders for each side. One Demon, One Angel, two humans. Kale himself came alone.

The great wizard explained to them why he had summoned them. The war was going no where, and senseless killing of the innocent was on the rise on both sides. So, he made them a deal. Whoever could win the Ever Pearl, a great power that could destroy the whole world, would be named victor, and gain control of both the havens and the earth. But there was a catch. Only the humans could fight. The Angels and Demons where to wait until the master of the Ever Pearl was reviled. They were more then happy to except this deal, seeing that it would be a great tool to use. Little did they know the true purpose of Kale’s Ever Pearl...
Chapter 1 It has begun
Dark clouds covered the evening sky, giving off an eerie purple glow above and below. The fog was thick as nails and the wind was stale. Perfect weather for an angelic hunter.

A man dressed in an all white robe with gold lien strode threw the woods, sword in hand, peering threw the thick fog with he’s light blue eyes. Spotting another figure, dressed like him only in black, he stepped forth into a clearing and called to it.

“Eros! Once dear friend, I see you too have come.”

Eros, demonic lord of the sixth region, stepped into the clearing with the man. He’s long sword rested at he’s side easily, as he’s burning coals for eyes looked at the man with great pleasure and hate.

“Los! Lord of the angelic hunters! How pleasant it is to meet you on this type of night.” He bowed slightly as Los did the same then resumed talking, “And yes, I too seek the prize. They say it shall be coming here soon.”

Los acknowledge this with a nod, “Yes this is true. Tell me, Lord Eros, was it you that had your men ambush my own?”

“Why yes it was Lord Los. I had hoped to slow down you and your men so that I could clam the prize.”

“But you know that the prize must first agree to be on your side. You know this and yet you still attack?”

“It was all but a simple plan to gain trust. But since you are here I must resort to proving with my words now.” He smirked at Los, daring him to make a move.

Los did not make a move instead he walked back into the shadow of the fog, calling to Eros one last time, “For now I shall hold back, once dear friend. But as soon as the prize has chosen its side, you shall die either way.”

Eros snorted and he too went back into the shadows, “It is you who shall die either way, Lord Los.”

The girl ran for her life threw the fog and woods. She couldn’t see what was chasing her anymore but her 6 year old mind told her to keep going anyway. Keep going. Keep running. The girl’s black pig tails flew behind her like losses legs, collecting water.

She ran into a clearing and stopped, her slender brown legs buckling under her as she heard the sound again. Yeowwww! Yeowwww!

She let out a soft sob and covered her head with her arms, knowing that it was coming for her. She didn’t look up as a long serpent like thing came from the fog, joining her in the clearing. It flicked its long yellow fork like tongue, tasting the air of her fear. Then its curl face formed a smile, its red blind eyes could now see her shape huddle in the center.

Slowly it began to coil its body around her gently, being sure not to squeeze her just yet. It flicked its tongue over her small hands, making sure she was still breathing. Then it smiled once more, knowing she was looking into the blindness of its eyes.

The girl whimpered quietly as the snake monster held her. She looked at it, tears streaming down her young face, unsure of what to do or say.

“You are good runner young one. Good good runner, unlike family,” said the serpent. It didn’t wait for her to say anything as it contained, “Little girl wants to be with family? Me help little girl then. Ha!” It laughed at its stupid joke, then looked at the girl again, “Me help little girl out.”

It opened its huge mouth and came down quickly on the girl. There was a pause as the girl yelled loudly. Then silence. The snake monster moved up quickly, howling in pain. Blood spilled from its mouth like a river, spraying to and fro as it swayed around wildly.

It snapped back and glared at the girl who was slightly glowing a bluish light, “YOU! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!?!? WHA-!” It felt its body shake like an earthquake then it exploded as the girl’s light grew brighter.

The girl opened her eyes as she fell down to the ground with a thud. She kept her head covered and cried softly in the mess of the snake monster, unaware of the three pairs of eyes watching her.

Eros came quickly from the shadows aiming to grab to girl. But he was blocked by Los’ sword and they both jumped back quickly.

The demon lord spat to the ground and glared at the angelic hunter, “She is mines Lord Los!”

Los didn’t speak, as he watched to girl then looked up to see a third shadow come from the shadows. A thin smile come on he’s lips, “Ah. Sir Juan, descendent of the great wizard Kale, I see you too have come.”

The man removed he’s hood to revile he’s short dark hair and light green eyes. He nodded to the two lords, “Lord Los. Lord Eros. I have come for the girl.”

Eros glared at him and yelled, “No! Why would you take her when she is clearly here already?”

With a slight laugh Los looked at Eros, “Eros, once dear friend, you did not really think we would fight for her tonight did you? She is only but a child, and her power is reckless.”

Juan nodded, “That she is. I have come to train her in both light and dark. When she is old enough she shall choose which ever side she wants. You may use whatever tactics that convince her to your side.”

“Very well then, “said Eros, grinning suddenly, “She is human. Humans always choose the winning side. So I have nothing to fear. Unlike you Lord Los.”

Los ignored him and looked once more at the girl. She was looking up at all three of them, in a daze. He sighed and turned he’s back to them; “Time is sort for you now. Tell me Sir Juan, what is her name?”

Juan knelt to her and patted her cheek gently as she fainted in he’s arms, “Her name is Asis.”

The angelic hunter nodded then walked away into the shadows, “Asis, I shall be watching over you.”

Eros too disappeared into the shadows, “As will I young Asis. As will I.”

A smirk spread on Juan’s lips as he held the sleeping girl, “Little Asis, you will have a great battle. May you choose wisely.”
